we are
Clive Zickel
Clive Zickel is a co-founder of B. Atkins & Co. He is a Chartered
Accountant and a Graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for
Management Development.
He had been in
Banking and Finance for over twenty years in London, Milan and Manhattan
when his passion for good food, wine and travel prompted him to devote
himself fully to the creation of a company engaged in gourmet foods.
Early in his career,
Clive spent 7 years working in the kitchens of London's fine restaurants
including Le Chateaubriand and Conrad's Bistro where he was Sous Chef.
Clive is responsible
for Sales, Marketing and Distribution and is also the Long Island
Chapter Leader for "Slow Food", a non-profit organization devoted
to the support of artisinal food and beverages.
Margaret Zickel
Margaret Zickel is a co-founder of B. Atkins & Co. She grew up in
Northern Ireland and has also lived in Italy and England and has traveled
extensively all over Europe. Margaret also has a passion for fine
food.
She has taught
nursery school for the last 10 years, and continues to do this part
time in addition to being responsible for New Product Development
and Administration for the company.
